What is a foot MRI?

A foot MRI uses magnetic resonance imaging to produce detailed images of the bones, joints and soft tissues within the foot.

MRI does not use X-rays or ionising radiation. It uses a strong magnetic field, radiofrequency signals and computer processing to create detailed images.
