What is a forearm MRI?

A forearm MRI uses magnetic resonance imaging to produce detailed images of the structures between the elbow and wrist.

MRI does not use X-rays or ionising radiation. It uses a strong magnetic field, radiofrequency signals and computer processing to create detailed images.
